“Each work is a song, and each series is an album,” I often say. My work is a reflection on my past and a continuous critique of the system around us.

Biography

I was born in Rosario in 1977, and since then, I have been immersed in the world of contemporary art, always seeking to challenge norms and redefine the boundaries of creativity. Growing up, punk and DIY culture surrounded me and shaped my perspective on art, leading me to develop a unique and provocative approach.

At 13, I began my journey in music, playing in punk and hardcore bands. During those years, I didn’t just focus on music; I also turned to urban art, putting up posters and creating graphics that filled the streets with messages of resistance. This blend of noise and DIY aesthetics was my way of occupying visual space and challenging the system, using the very tools that surround it to subvert it.

After finishing high school, I decided to deepen my skills and studied Graphic Design, Fine Arts, and Analog Photography at renowned institutions. It was during these years that I began experimenting with photocopies and combining disparate elements into visually powerful and coherent compositions.

One of the most defining aspects of my work is the use of photographs of legendary musicians like Iggy Pop, the Ramones, Patti Smith, and Debbie Harry. I take their images, deconstruct them, and reconfigure them into portraits of non-existent characters, creating figures that seem to hover between nostalgia and the new.

My fascination with consumer culture stems, in part, from working for years in design and advertising, where everyday objects have always been present in my life. This is clearly reflected in a series of pieces where I use mockups of products like hamburger boxes, cleaning supplies, or cans. These are elements I have seen ad nauseam in campaigns and branding, and by adding logos of luxury brands or global corporations, I generate a sharp and subversive critique of the banality of consumption. One of my most talked-about pieces is “Hamburguesa Versace,” where a simple hamburger box becomes a grotesque symbol of opulence and decadence.

My approach is not limited to visual critique; I also incorporate elements of abstract and pictorial art into my backgrounds, creating a contrast that enhances the message of my works. My style is a fusion of influences that range from punk rock, pop art, anti-advertising, and street art, and I always strive to challenge the status quo.

As a creative director, Photoshop expert, and illustrator, I have worked on a wide range of projects, from advertising campaigns to art installations. My career has always been marked by a constant questioning of norms and an unrelenting pursuit of new forms of expression.
